 I am thankful to have a family to spend the holidays with, I am able to go to school and get an education, and that I am alive. We took two tests today. I didn't do well on one of them because it only had 3 questions but theres no point in getting worked up about it now. I am glad that it is the last day of break.

 A time that I was afraid to accept the truth was when my grandfather died. I was pretty young and it didn't really make sense to me that he was gone forever so I didn't really accept it. Today we got up on missing work. I feel good because the week is almost over and it is almost thanksgiving break.

 An adventure that I want to go on is an adventure outside of the U.S. I have been outside the U.S before but it was to Canada which is very similar. I want to see different continents with very different cultures and views. We read another robert frost poem today called the road not taken. This time we analyzed it by ourselves though. I feel good about today's assignment and excited for the last week until thanksgiving break.

 I think something that I will never understand, and that no humans will ever understand is the concept of infinity. infinite time and infinite space are something that humans have tried to understand but we will never fully understand it. Today in class we read and analyzed another robert frost poem called birches. I feel like I know what we are doing in class which gives me a sense of secureness knowing I could do it on my own.

 Something that I wish I had more of is time. This is partly because we keep reading poems that have a similar theme, and that is that we limited time on earth. Today we had to finish a slide show on the poem nothing gold can stay. I feel good about this assignment and I am glad the week is over.

I moment of unexpected kindness that comes to mind is when I didn't have enough money to buy something at the store, and the cashier took some of the price off so I could by it. Today in class we analyzed another Robert Frost poem called Nothing Gold Can Stay. We keep practicing analyzing the themes of poems so that we can soon do them on our own. I am confident in my ability to do this so I am satisfied in the class right now.

 There have been certain moments that I remember being surprised by. Something that comes to mind is when my family gets my presents on Christmas or my birthday. Today in class we analyzed a robert frost poem called out out. I enjoyed today's class because I understood what we were doing.

 I have felt completely lost before. One time that comes to mind was when I was little, I got lost in a grocery store. Because I was little it felt like I would never find my parents again. Today we studied new vocabulary words. I felt fine about it and am already waiting for the week to be over.

There have been multiple places that I have never wanted to leave in my life. One that comes to mind is when I was on vacation in Florida. The weather is much nicer and there were so many things to do that I could have stayed there forever.

 Today we had a sub so we just did a Newsela. I learned how to analyze a story and answer questions about  it. I enjoyed today's class because it was easy and didn't take much time which allowed me to use some time to do other work that I had. I am feeling good about today and I am ready for this week to be over.

 Today we read a new story called ambush. I learned how to analyzed a story and answer questions about it. I am feeling good about today and tomorrow is the election so we get the day off. I also felt good about today's assignment because it was straight forward.

 Today, we took a test on the story we had been working on this week, "the rockpile". I learned how to demonstrate my comprehension of the story on the test. I felt fine about this class because all we did was take the test. I am excited for the weekend and happy to have finished another week.
